Lara Quigaman rushed to hospital after event in Cebu, thanks husband Marco Alcaraz for care
Precious Lara Quigaman was rushed to the hospital after she experienced a severe allergic reaction.
The former beauty queen shared in an Instagram post that after she had finished her commitment at a high school pageant in Cebu, she experienced a breakout of hives, a symptom of severe allergic reactions.
Earlier that day, she was at another event when the hives first appeared.
Quigaman, who was crowned Miss International in 2005, also shared a photo with her husband, actor Marco Alcaraz, who stayed by her side. The pair posed with finger hearts popularized by KPop stars.
“Marco has beeeen the best! He’s been driving me to work, taking such good care of me and [son] Noah and just simply making me happy I feel like crying right now,” she wrote.
She admitted: “I can’t even remember this photo being taken (groggy na sa meds) and me making the heart sign.”
The couple were civilly married in 2011, and had a Christian wedding in 2012. /ra
