LOOK: Canadian PM Justin Trudeau hangs out with cast of ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’

Actor James McAvoy who plays Professor X in the upcoming “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” recently updated his Instagram account with a photo of his fellow actors and an unexpected guest: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

According to the timestamp on McAvoy’s post, the actor is currently filming in Montreal, Canada for “X-Men: Dark Phoenix”.

McAvoy captioned his post with, “Just met ‘the dude’.thank you Canada for such a progressive, impressive and somewhat suggestive real life superhero.”

Aside from Prime Minister Trudeau, the photo also shows Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops) and Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler).

“X-Men: Dark Phoenix” is the latest movie in the X-Men franchise. It follows the Dark Phoenix saga from the marvel comic books, where psychic mutant Jean Grey becomes the Dark Phoenix and goes against the X-Men. The movie is expected to premiere on November 2018. JB
