In the latest Spider-Man reboot, “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, Spidey (Tom Holland) has an advantage that his predecessors didn’t have before: an ally and benefactor in Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).
This “friendship” has perks, like a nifty new suit with high-tech capabilities, allowing him to release any of 576 web shooter combinations.
The trailer also gives added glimpses of Peter Parker’s average life dealing with girls (Zendaya, who is only named “Michelle” in credits), saving people in his community, and more of his frustrations on not being taken seriously because he’s only a high school kid.
Donald Glover, a.k.a. rapper Childish Gambino, also makes an appearance—his role is unknown, but he’s a diehard fan of the comic book hero.
With the webbed hero’s signature light-hearted humor and his new state-of-the-art suit, could Spider-Man be more than just your friendly neighborhood hero?
