What is your most memorable Christmas season? How do you intend to celebrate the holidays this year?

The happiest time was my first Christmas with my wife Trineth and kids, Kahlia and Gabriel.

The saddest was when I celebrated noche buena alone. I was only 12 years old then and my mom Rosaline decided to sleep early that year (laughs).

Usually, my family and I go up to Baguio for the holidays. But because I have an entry (“Seklusyon”) in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, we will spend the season in the city.

We’ll just have noche buena at home. But on Christmas Day, we will watch my movie, of course. I’ll make sure to watch all eight entries. Most likely, I will watch two movies a day.—BAYANI SAN DIEGO JR.
