/ 12:41 PM October 14, 2016

The DJ duo Chainsmokers “smoked” out their harsh thoughts on Lady Gaga’s newest single “Perfect Illusion.”

In an interview with Rolling Stone, members Alex Pall and Drew Taggart confessed that they “disliked” the pop star’s thrilling single from her album, “Joanne.”

In two words, Pall “offended” Gaga’s fans when he blurted out, “It sucks.”

With a more serene tone, Taggart, 26, told the music news outlet, “She’s a great artist—like, Jeff Koons made a sculpture of her.”

Pall, 31, clinched back, saying, “A lot of talented people worked on that song. But…” and then scrunched his nose in a funny manner.

Although the DJ duo stated their frank opinion, Gaga’s squadron of die-hard fans, or Little Monsters, charged back with the hashtag #TheChainsmokersAreOverParty, which trended on Twitter since Wednesday. Many Twitter users clipped their tweets with GIFs of Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, and Beyonce. One user even captured Taggart’s previous tweet about Gaga.
