The snaps posted on Twitter have garnered at least 20,000 retweets and 38,000 likes. The same photos on her Facebook page have gotten 73,000 likes and reactions as of Friday. Many of the comments hailed her for supporting her sons’ passion for anime.
It’s not amusing that her kids are fans of the ’90s Japanese series. Last month, she shared a drawing of a combat scene between Vegeta and Son Goku on her Instagram account. “My son is a little genius,” she captioned her post.

During the hype of Pokémon Go in the US last month, she splurged her sons, who reached their double-digit ages, with a Pokémon-themed birthday bash. Spears herself is an anime fan—Anime News Network pointed out that she posed for UK’s POP magazine in 2013 wearing popular anime outfits and directed by Japanese artist Takeshi Murakami.
