LOOK: 1st glimpse of Megatron in ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’
With news of Megatron’s return to the big screen via the upcoming “Transformers: The Last Knight,” Universal studios unveiled the new and improved look of the Deception leader.
The Transformers official Twitter account revealed a full body shot of the despotic machine on Thursday (Friday in Manila) complete with two new weapons—a sword with an axe head and an arm-mounted cannon.

The robotic villain, who was revealed to be 30 feet tall, was described as a “ruthless deception oppressor” who wants to achieve peace through tyranny.
The post was also captioned, “All he wants is everything,” referring to the Deception’s motives for world domination.
Netizens, meanwhile, were quick to point out the similarities between Megatron’s new design, to another robotic villain from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ultron. Some even playfully mocked the new concept, saying he looks like a buffed-up version of the Avenger antagonist.
