Hacker apologizes to Maine Mendoza after seizing her Instagram account

The Instagram account of Maine Mendoza, better known as “Yaya Dub,” the other half of the hit “AlDub” love team, was hacked on Tuesday night.
All posts of Mendoza, even her profile picture in the said account, were deleted by the hacker.

The hacker also turned Mendoza’s then public profile into a private one.
It was her onscreen partner Alden Richards who first revealed that Mendoza’s Instagram account has been compromised. Furthermore, he identified the hacker.
On early Wednesday morning, Mendoza posted on her Twitter account that she is fine despite failing to retrieve her Instagram account.
“Tulog na kayo, I’m fine,” she tweeted.
(You may sleep now, I’m fine.)
In the profile description of the actress’ Instagram account, the hacker left a message to Mendoza.
“I will put your email so rest the password, I know I’m wrong, I’m sorry,” the hacker’s message read.
As of posting time, her account, which has 2.2 million followers, remains private.
