Sequel to ‘One More Chance’ opens Nov.25, John Lloyd Cruz confirms
Heartthrob John Lloyd Cruz confirmed late Thursday the sequel to phenomenal romance drama “One More Chance” will open in local cinemas on November 25 this year.
“Yes, it’s going to be shown on November 25,” Cruz announced on television when he guested on “Tonight with Boy Abunda”.
Host Abunda, who was celebrating his birthday, asked Cruz the final title of the sequel but Cruz refused to name it. Eventually Abunda just called it “A Second Chance.”
“Basta, we have something to offer on November 25,” Cruz said.
“One More Chance” is one of the top-grossing romantic films in the past two decades, raking in a total of P157 million.
Cruz plays Popoy, the forlorn lover of Basha, who is played by Bea Alonzo.
The story of Popoy and Basha has become staple in Filipino pop culture since it was shown in 2007.
