Clint Eastwood ‘mocks’ Caitlyn Jenner—report

Actor Clint Eastwood was scored after allegedly mocking transgender woman Caitlyn Jenner in a joke at a recent awards show, Hollywood Life reported.

During the taping of Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards last June 6, Eastwood introduced Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and related him to other athletes who became celebrities like “Jim Brown and Caitlyn Somebody…”

Hollywood Life reported that the 85-year-old actor’s joke was received with a groan from the crowd.

On the other hand, USA Today reported that Eastwood’s joke will be cut when the show will be aired on June 18.

“We will remove the reference in the version that will air,” Spike TV senior vice president of communications David Schwarz said.

Eastwood is not the only celebrity which came under fire for attacking Jenner. Rapper Snoop Dogg was slammed after she tagged Jenner as a “science project” while Drake Bell was scored for posting an allegedly transphobic remark against Jenner on Instagram. Bell has since apologized.
