Kris Aquino wants Bimby to experience US life for a year

TELEVISION host-actress Kris Aquino said that she wants to live in the United States for a year.

In an episode of Kris TV which aired on Monday, Aquino said that she wants her eight-year-old son Bimby to experience living in the US.

“I’ll live in America for a year. I really want to live in the US for a year so that Bimby can experience living outside the country,” the actress told guest star Karla Estrada.

Estrada said that she will definitely miss the Philippines.

The presidential sister said that she wants Bimby to grow up to be an independent person.

“Kasi sinabi ko sa kanya na feeling ko mas naging mas well-rounded akong individual kasi nag-aral ako abroad, tapos natuto ako lahat ng gawain for myself (I felt that I became a well-rounded individual because I studied abroad and I was able to do household chores all by myself),” she added.

Aquino recalls living outside the country were the “happiest days of my life.”

She lived in the US along with her family for three years when the late Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. was exiled during the imposition of the Martial Law. AJH
