Sharon Cuneta: ‘I hope to retire in 4-5 years’

“I must admit that every once in a while, I cannot help but imagine living here also someday… I hope to retire in 4-5 years, and here is one of those places that are in my shortlist for “back-and-forthing” — or living in na talaga someday,” Sharon posted on her Facebook account
She even joked about applying for a job at The Filipino Channel.
“Basta Kapamilya pa rin!” she quipped.
Sharon returned to ABS-CBN’s fold on March 9 after a three-year contract with TV 5. She sits as a judge on the show “Your Face Sounds Familiar.”

Her kids were obviously enjoying their holiday break, with Sharon saying, “My babies call this happy place of our “home.”
She also voiced out her worries about the future of her children in the Philippines as one of the reasons why she wants to migrate.
“I love the Philippines but maybe it is always in the back of my head that all this gulo in our country might become scary(-ier) na and I fear for my children’s Philippines, their future. I love God, my children, and my country. In that order. I am, after all, their mother, and my commitment is to take care of them as best I can. I am still hopeful, though,” she said. IDL
