Sharon Cuneta: I will be back in showbiz ‘sooner than expected’

MANILA, Philippines—Megastar Sharon Cuneta said that she will be back in the limelight after surviving a turbulent time I her personal life and career.

In a post on her Facebook account, Cuneta told her fans that they will be seeing her “in just a few days.”

“To my dearest Sharonians, you will be seeing me in just a few days. In fact, much sooner than you ever expected. I love you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering support and yes, this is a surprise countdown!” she said on her Facebook account on Friday.

Her message was received positively by fans who expressed their excitement in seeing their idol again.

Cuneta did not provide any other details on her comeback project.

As part of her comeback, Cuneta said that she is working out to achieve her “ideal” weight.

A report by Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep.PH) on Saturday said that the Megastar will be back to ABS-CBN, her home network for 23 years.

In 2011, she transferred to TV5 only to leave in August last year.

Her mother, Elaine, also passed away last November 2014. AJH
