WATCH: Tom Hanks, Justin Bieber in new Carly Rae Jepsen music video
MANILA, Philippines—Younger generation, meet Tom Hanks.
Hanks, an Oscar-winning actor, takes a break from his serious roles in the movies and television to star in the newest music video of pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen.
Jepsen, who shot to fame via the hit “Call Me Maybe,” premiered the video for the song “I Really Like You” on Saturday (Manila time). Hanks can be seen in the video interacting with fans, lip-syncing the song’s lyrics and even dancing.
He is later joined by Jepsen in what appeared to be a film set and then much later by pop star Justin Bieber. Both Jepsen and Bieber are Canadians.
Hanks, one of the most awarded actors in Hollywood, won the Oscar Best Actor in 1993 for Philadelphia and in 1994 for Forrest Gump. Some of his other notable films include Captain Philips, Cast Away, Saving Private Ryan, You’ve Got Mail, Apollo 13 and Toy Story. IDL
