MANILA, Philippines—Businessman Cedric Lee and his accomplice arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Sunday morning after being arrested Saturday morning in Oras town in Eastern Samar, a radio report said.

Lee, Simeon Palma (a.k.a. Zimmer Raz) and three others—Sajed Fernandez Abuhijleh, aka Jed Fernandez, Ferdinand Guerrero, Jose Paolo Gregorio Calma—are accused of mauling actor TV-host Vhong Navarro in January this year.

Lee and Palma will temporarily be detained at the National Bureau of Investigation pending the decision of the Taguig regional trial court (RTC).

Lee, Palma and their companions were charged with serious illegal detention, after they allegedly tried to frame Navarro for rape of model Deniece Cornejo.
