The actress was stung by a box jellyfish during the shooting of her latest “fantaserye” on Wednesday night. The sting caused a huge rash on Anne’s right side.
But the image failed to evoke sympathy from some netizens. One even called the incident Curtis’ “karma,” while another said she “deserved” getting stung.
Twitter users were reacting to recent raucous incidents that involved the Fil-Aussie actress when she had too many drinks. One was when she slapped a couple of people, including actor John Lloyd Cruz, at an upscale club in Taguig on November 23 last year.

Please pray for my sister’s well being. She was stung by a box jellyfish, considered to be one of the deadliest.. It hurts me to see some saying that she deserved this when no one deserves to be in risk in terms of health. How could anyone wish this upon another?
“It hurts me to see some saying that she deserved this when no one deserves to be in risk in terms of health. How could anyone wish this upon another?” Curtis-Smith tweeted.
Curtis’ bashers also hurt her boyfriend Erwan Heusaff, who called the netizens “judgemental asses.”
Some netizens still expressed their support for Curtis, with a couple saying they feel “bad” for Anne.
Even others made jokes about the incident, noting that the jellyfish must have been “classy” enough to sting Curtis

Thank you my sweethearts for all your messages. I am officially out of the danger zone. Just have one more test for my heart..
