CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Philippines — A red hot band needs a darker red and hotter level of security.

As the second day of the 7107 International Music Festival progresses at the Global Gateway Logistics City in Pampanga, security personnel are gearing up their troops for the celebration’s main performers, the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

A security official, who spoke for the bouncers in the event, said that the 200-plus members of their group are on high alert once the guitars riff for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees.

“We are expecting more people and we are prepared for the night since we know the security demands RHCP would bring,” the official who requested anonymity said Sunday.

He added that, as of posting time, there have been no reported incidents of misdemeanor or petty crimes.

Despite the “generally peaceful” atmosphere of 7107, they are still on high alert to provide ample security for the performers and the thousands of fans that would pour in at the concert grounds.
