Roxanne Cabañero to Vhong Navarro: See you in court
MANILA, Philippines — Roxanne Acosta Cabañero, the woman who filed the latest rape case against actor Vhong Navarro, said she was inspired by Deniece Cornejo’s complaint but she didn’t want to be linked to her and Cedric Lee.
“Ayokong ma-link sa kanila…Ayokong maapektuhan ang kaso ko,” Cabanero said in an exclusive interview with talk show “Buzz ng Bayan.”
She said she did not know Lee, who is being accused of beating up Navarro, and that she had no plans of talking to him until her case is resolved.
During the interview, the former beauty contest contender narrated how she first met Navarro on the noontime show “It’s Showtime” in 2010 and how he fetched her one instance before supposedly going out to have coffee. This was the same time the supposed rape happened.
“He violated me, he threatened me. It was the most horrific moment of my life,” a teary Cabañero said.
