Bea Alonzo enjoys being single, entertains admirers

Bea Alonzo revealed that she has admirers whom she occasionally entertains, but she clarified that she is not exclusively dating and that she enjoys being single.

The actress, whose engagement with actor Dominic Roque was called off earlier this year, spoke about this during an event, as seen on “24 Oras” on Sunday, Aug. 25.

“Okay naman ang lagay ng puso ko ngayon. I’m enjoying being single right now,” she said.

“I mean, there are people na syempre—wow, feeling maganda. Charot lang!” she continued, chuckling. “Syempre naman may nagpaparamdam. Sometimes you reply, sometimes you see people.”

Alonzo also shared how she spends her time aside from allotting it to her busy acting schedule, saying she focuses on self-care activities.

“I strive for a work-life balance and that’s what makes me happy right now. I’m a work in progress,” she said.

Alonzo and Roque revealed their engagement in July 2023, then announced their separation in February this year.

In a recent interview, Alonzo said she no longer wants to be in a relationship with someone from show biz.

“Ayaw ko na ng public relationship ever again. Pasong-paso na ako,” she said. “I really learned my lesson the hard way. I need someone who will love me unconditionally and someone who will never give up on me.”
