Bea Alonzo no longer wants a public relationship: ‘Pasong paso na ako’
Amid her belief that love will eventually find her again, Bea Alonzo stressed that she no longer wants a relationship with someone from showbiz again, as she hinted that she has been “burned” by her past experiences.
“I’ve always been a hopeless romantic, and I still believe there is someone out there for me,” the Kapuso actress told Boy Abunda.
Alonzo then affirmed that she wants her next relationship to be private and to date someone not from showbiz. “Ayaw ko na ng (I don’t want a) public relationship ever again. Pasong paso na ako (I have been burned),” she said.
The “Widows’ War” actress underscored that she has learned a lesson, so she’s looking for someone “man enough to handle her.”
“I really learned my lesson the hard way,” continued Alonzo. “[I need] someone who will love me unconditionally and someone who will never give up on me.”
Article continues after this advertisementThe 36-year-old actress shared in a previous interview that her wishful thinking is “to meet her future husband and have her kids in five years.”
“Siguro wishful thinking. If this happens, ‘di okay, masaya (then it’s happiness), pero if hindi (but if not) I’d still be okay, I wish ‘yung dalawang kasama kong (the two people I’m with in a dinner) nagdidinner is that my husband and my child,” she said at the time, answering a hypothetical question.
Alonzo was previously engaged to Dominic Roque in 2023. They announced their separation in February of this year.
The Kapuso actress also dated actors Gerald Anderson, Zanjoe Marudo, and Mico Palanca.
