Bea Alonzo’s hope in next five years is to meet husband, have baby
Despite the challenges in love she has encountered recently, Bea Alonzo remains hopeful that romance is just around the corner, as she shared that her wish in the next five years is to have dinner with her future husband and their child.
During a guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Thursday, July 11, the Kapuso actress was asked a hypothetical question about the person she would like to have dinner with five years from now. Who would that someone be, she was asked?
In response, Alonzo said she doesn’t “want to plan anymore,” but shared her hopes that by that time she already has her family with her.
“Ayoko na magplano kasi every time na nagpaplano ako, hindi ‘yun ang natutuloy,” she said.
“Siguro wishful thinking. If this happens, e di okay masaya, pero if hindi I’d still be okay, I wish ‘yung dalawang kasama kong nagdidinner is that my husband and my child,” continued the actress.

But to answer your question, baka nga may mga nalilito, during that time that I did Tatler, that was like a month ago. Kasi po bago po sila makapag-release ng July issue, medyo matagal na. That was the only time I kind of talked about it because I was asked,” she said about the Tatler interview.
Meanwhile, in her interview with “24 Oras,” she clarified that she and Nelson Canlas were talking about fake news being spread about their breakup, so she had the instinct to correct the statement.
“But then merong comment si Nelson. Before his comment, we were talking about fake news and all that. And then I was so comfortable talking to him as if walang camera sa harapan. And then he went like, sabi niya, ‘Siyempre ikaw ‘yung nakipag-break, hindi nila alam, mahirap din sa ‘yo. And parang, it was like an instinct that I had to correct him. But I didn’t have any intention to really talk about it,” explained the actress.
Alonzo affirmed that the breakup became a mutual decision eventually, saying, “So we didn’t take the decision lightly. It was a process; it was a long process. Eventually it became mutual. Both parties agreed.”
The “One More Chance” actress underscored that her experience with her failed relationship made her more “resilient,” and she’s grateful for both the beautiful and bad memories.
Meanwhile, in a separate interview, Roque was asked about his reaction to Alonzo’s statement that she did not initiate the breakup.
“Wala naman na akong ia-add [sa sinabi niya],” he told “Balitanghali.”
The two began dating in 2021 and got engaged last year. They were supposed to tie the knot this year.
