Lolit Solis takes Kris’ side on child support: ‘Dapat sundin ni James ang usapan’
Lolit Solis rushed to friend Kris Aquino’s defense in light of her spat with ex-husband James Yap.
The talent manager compared Kris’ child support woes to that of what happened between actors Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion.
“Natatawa ako dahil ‘di ko maisip isang megastar na naghahanap ng financial support like the case of Kris now with James (I would laugh because I couldn’t imagine that a megastar like Sharon would look for financial support like Kris is doing now with James),” wrote Manay Lolit.
The showbiz veteran continued, “Siguro nga it is a matter of principle para sa kanila…para lang alam din ng tatay ang responsibilidad niya sa kanilang anak (Maybe it’s a matter of principle for them so that the father knows the responsibility to his child).”
She also revealed that Sharon would demand the P5,000-a-month support from Concepcion.
Even if it seemed like a laughing matter, she shared that Kris should rightfully claim the financial support. “Hindi ko alam kung magkano, tiyak barya rin iyon kay Kris pero dapat sundin ni James ang usapan (I don’t know how much it is but I’m sure it’s spare change for Kris. James should stick to the agreement.).”
“Kaya give na James para ‘di siya magalit sa iyo obvious naman na marami ka rin datung (Just pay up, James, so that she will no longer be angry with you. You obviously have a lot of cash.),” she advised the cager.
In a social media post, the queen of all media claimed that James had not provided support in the last three years and did not make an effort to spend time with their 10-year-old son Bimby.
On the other hand, the cager stated in an exclusive interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal that he had not seen his son in eight months even if he had visitation rights. JB
