After 22 years, Ina Raymundo proves she’s still a hot TV darling as she re-creates her iconic “Sabado Nights” commercial for a beer brand.
In a touching Instagram tribute on Thursday, the actress reminisced about the time she taped for the nostalgic San Miguel beer commercial, noting that the commercial “changed her life.”
“22 years ago, this San Miguel Pale Pilsen TVC came out,” she captioned the advertisement. “It changed my life. I was their second choice for this commercial. But on Day 1 of shooting, the SMPP team felt I was better suited for the ad.”
Although she was considered as the second option for the role, she was later called to enact the commercial. “I was out somewhere drinking San Mig[uel] Pale Pilsen when my manager called at 2 am to tell me I got the part, but I have to go home ASAP [because] the shoot was at 7 am! And the rest is history,” she added.

Raymundo, 41, re-created the “Sabado Nights” commercial with brand ambassador Vic Sotto and Philippine Basketball Association stars Marc Pingris at Junmar Fajardo.
