At 39, actress Ina Raymundo still shows off a fit and sexy body.

But while keeping her fit physique remains one of her top priorities, she said there is only one thing that defines her: Being the best mom to her five kids and a loving wife to her husband Canadian businessman Brian Poturnak.

“My family is the best thing that happened to me. I will always be there for my kids and (they) will always be on the top of my priority no matter what. My purpose is to be a dakilang ina,” she said during an event of cosmetics company Avon on Tuesday.

She said despite her hectic work, being with her family gives her “the most joy.”

But being picked as an Avon ambassador, Raymundo said she would now be involved in various causes, such as defending women who are victims of domestic violence and urging fellow moms to be fit.

“My passion is encouraging women to be fit after having babies. I know so many women who are struggling after having one kid. I want to encourage them that it can be done, that they can be fit after having one or two kid.”

The actress also said she would be campaigning against domestic violence “because I don’t want to see my girls to be in that position.”

Apart from Raymundo, cancer survivor Franz Tolentino was also hailed as one of Avon’s “beauties for a purpose.”

Tolentino, who described herself as a “chop-chop woman” after undergoing various surgeries, overcame stage 3 breast cancer and had her ovaries removed. She became a successful dealer of Avon and was able to send her three children to college. AJH/RC
