As of writing, the Philippines hasn’t announced if local cinemas will also be holding a rerun.

Directed by Joe Wright, “Pride & Prejudice” received critical acclaim upon its release. It was also a box-office success, grossing $121 million worldwide on a budget of $28 million.

In a previous interview, Knightley shared that filming the adaptation was “incredibly liberating.”

“Joe Wright really created a very creative, free atmosphere on set, and there was a sense of joy to it. You never felt like it was this heavy, period drama that we had to tiptoe around. It was always incredibly liberating,” she told Collider at the time.

Macfadyen, on the other hand, always believed that he and Knightley had a “natural chemistry.”

“Keira was great. We had a fantastic rapport, and it made the scenes so much more fun to do. There was a natural chemistry between us, which made those moments feel more genuine,” he shared in an interview with Empire Magazine.

Aside from the duo, the film also stars Brenda Blethyn, Donald Sutherland, Rosamund Pike, Jena Malone, Tom Hollander, Penelope Wilton and Dame Judi Dench, among others.
