Newly-crowned Miss Universe 2024 Victoria Theilvig of Denmark posed for a photo with former Miss Universe queens, among them Catriona Gray and R’Bonney Gabriel, following her coronation in Mexico City.

The photo showed Theilvig being flanked by other Miss Universe queens, such as Gray (Philippines, 2018), Andrea Meza (Mexico, 2020), Gabriel (USA, 2022), Olivia Culpo (USA, 2012), and Margaret Gardiner (South Africa, 1978).

“Congratulations to our new Miss Universe @victoriaakjaer May you have a blessed, impactful, and abundant reign, can’t wait to see what year holds,” Gabriel captioned her photo on Instagram.

Theivig also previously posed for a picture with other Miss Universe continental queens, among them the Philippines’ Chelsea Manalo, who finished her journey at the Top 30. But while she fell short in her quest for the country’s 5th crown, she was able to snag the honor of being the first Miss Universe-Asia, one of the four special titles handed out by the pageant organization.

In this year’s Miss Universe, Gray served as one of the backstage hosts, a role that she has assumed for the third time. This time around, she was paired with American entertainment reporter Zuri Hall.

For her hosting duties, the Filipina beauty queen showcased three different looks that showcased her beauty and striking physique.

Her first look featured a chic white asymmetrical textured mini dress with a halter neckline and fringe details.

Gray’s second outfit was a flowing white cut-out gown with a thigh-high slit. She ended the coronation with a striking hot pink and red ensemble with a lopsided off-shoulder design.

Aside from Gray, the Philippines has three other Miss Universe titleholders: Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Margie Moran (1973), and Gloria Diaz (1969).
