Kim Chiu, Ogie Alcasid, MC, Lassy win ‘It’s Showtime’ Magpasikat 2024

Team Ogie, composed of “It’s Showtime” hosts Ogie Alcasid, Kim Chiu, MC Calaquian, and Lassy Marquez, was named the winner of the noontime show’s Magpasikat 2024 segment.

Dubbing themselves the “Fourtastic Combo,” Alcasid, Chiu, MC, and Lassy were declared the winners on the Saturday, October 26 episode of “It’s Showtime” where they also won P300,000 for their chosen charity.

Alcasid, Chiu, MC, and Lassy — who became emotional after their win, will donate their cash prize to the Angat Buhay Foundation — which is founded by former vice president and Naga mayor aspirant Leni Robredo.

Team Jhong (Jhong Hilario, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez) bagged second place, while Team Anne (Anne Curtis, Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz) brought home the third spot.

Other groups part of this year’s Magpasikat were Team Vhong (Vhong Navarro, Ion Perez, Darren Espanto, and Amy Perez) and Team Vice (Vice Ganda, Karylle, and Ryan Bang).

Promoting the message “Tigil, Hinga, Kalma,” the winning team’s routine consisted of Alcasid performing an original composition on the piano while he’s perched on a revolving platform.

Chiu, on the other hand, did a trapeze routine while Morrissette Amon sang to “Isa Pang Araw.” Meanwhile, MC and Lassy did an interpretative performance while hanging on a revolving cube.

Chiu earlier made headlines after she was hospitalized while preparing for her team’s Magpasikat 2024 routine. Despite the incident, she assured her fans that she was doing okay.

Magpasikat is a week-long, annual talent competition of “It’s Showtime” where its hosts and other cast members compete against each other through various performances, usually having a significant theme.
