Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz still saving up for future wedding
Celebrity couple Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz shared that they are in the process of saving up for their future wedding.
During the recent media conference of the talent competition, “The Clash,” the pair was asked about their wedding plans as they had both revealed in previous interviews that marriage talks were already part of their relationship.
“Kung wedding naman po yung pag-uusapan, darating naman po talaga yan, in God’s perfect time. Basta alam ko sa puso ko na wala naman pong ibang gustong pakasalan kundi si Julie Anne San Jose. Saka mahirap po magbigay ng definite date, kasi yun po ang laging tanong sa akin,” answered Cruz.
(If we are to talk about a wedding, it will definitely come, in God’s perfect time. I just know in my heart that there is no one else I want to marry but Julie Anne San Jose. It’s hard to give a definite date, because that’s the question I’m always asked.)
The two, who are set to return as hosts for season 6 of “The Clash,” said that right now their focus is saving up for the future.

Nag-iipon po kami para sa future naming dalawa. Wala naman po akong gustong i-share ng future ko kundi sa kanya lang talaga. Alam naman niya na gusto ko siyang makasama habang buhay.”
(And it’s true. We are saving for our future. The only person I want to share my future with is her. She knows that I want to be with her forever.)

When asked when the wedding proposal was going to happen, Cruz underscored that he wanted to keep it a surprise.
“Mahirap pag-usapan dito, kasi nakikiramdam na siya eh (It’s hard to talk about it here because she can feel something already). Baka hindi na ma-surprise (She might not get surprised anymore),” stated the actor, adding that if it happens, the first people who will know are San Jose’s parents.
Cruz also emphasized that when the proposal or the wedding happens, the public would also know, saying, “I mean, internal muna nangyayari yan (it will happen internally first). But definitely you guys will know naman. Hindi naman para itago (It’s not something that we are going to hide).”
The couple met in 2018 and revealed they were dating in 2022.
Meanwhile, aside from San Jose and Cruz as The Clash Masters, Ai-Ai delas Alas, Lani Misalucha and Christian Bautista will take up the judges’ duties for the talent competition.
“The Clash” returns Saturday, Sept. 14, at 7 p.m. on GMA Network.
