Mark Leviste expressed his support for his ex-girlfriend Kris Aquino as she returned to the Philippines, with the politician lamenting the latter’s “difficult battle” against her autoimmune diseases.

Leviste said this through a statement on his Facebook Stories on Friday, Sept. 13.

“I am glad that Kris is finally home, and I’m equally happy for her family, friends, and fans that our Queen is back at long last,” he said. “However, it breaks my heart to see someone I deeply care about facing such a difficult battle.”

“Her strength and resilience have always amazed me, at alam ko na gagawin niya ang lahat upang hindi sumuko, at patuloy na lumaban at protektahan ang kanyang kalusugan,” he continued.

Leviste then underscored his and his family’s prayers for the Queen of All Media’s “healing, comfort and peace.”

“Now, more than ever, she needs the unwavering love and support of her loved ones. My children and I are here for her, offering all the encouragement we can,” he concluded, adding a yellow heart emoji.

Kris earlier revealed her new romance with an unnamed doctor based in Makati, clarifying that her new beau was not the reason behind her breakup with Leviste.
