Andrew Schimmer, non-showbiz partner expecting their first child

Andrew Schimmer is a new father as he announced that his non-showbiz partner, Dimps, is pregnant with their first child.
On Facebook on Sunday, August 11, Schimmer shared a photo of the latter’s pregnancy test showing two bright lines while his two children were having fun in the background.
“My God, totoo nato. Thank you, lord. Grabeng blessing po nito, we’re all superrrr happy! Woohooo! Bebe boy lezzgaw (My God, this is real. Thank you, Lord. This is such a great blessing. We’re all super happy! Woohoo! Let’s go for a baby boy),” he said.
Dimps made her pregnancy public in a separate Facebook post, sharing a photo of herself showing a pregnancy test to her mother.
“Mommy ayan na. Ang hiling mo, matutupad na (Here you go, Mommy. Your wish is coming true),” she wrote.

Not much is known about Schimmer and Dimps’ relationship, including his non-showbiz partner’s real surname. The actor, however, announced that he’s dating the latter in December 2023, a year after the death of his fiancée Jho Rovero.
In a December 2023 report by the Philippine Entertainment Portal, Dimps revealed that she and Schimmer were together for “two months” before making their romance public.
Rovero died of complications linked to cardiac arrest and severe asthma in December 2022. She and the actor have two children together named Andrea and Xander.
