SB19’s Josh Cullen featured in Grammy’s ‘Global Spin’ series

Josh Cullen performed his single “Yoko Na” for Grammy’s “Global Spin,” making him the second SB19 member following Felip to be featured in the digital series.

“Global Spin,” as per the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel, is a “performance series featuring artists from around the world where the celebration of the global music community is the focus.”

“Filipino singer-songwriter and rapper Josh Cullen performs ‘Yoko Na,’ a track about the unsaid words in a relationship that’s nearing its end. Accompanied by a full band and various visual assets, Cullen’s raw and honest portrayal resonates deeply in this live performance,” the award-giving body captioned the P-pop artist’s performance video shared on Friday, July 12.

Cullen couldn’t help but be elated over his achievement, as seen on his X (formerly Twitter) page. The feat has also become a trending topic on the platform with a combined total of more than 152,000 tweets as of this writing.

“Honored to debut on ‘Global Spin’ by Grammys!” he said, sharing a link to the performance video which has so far garnered over 22,000 views.

Prior to this, Felip was featured in the “Global Spin” in 2022 with his single “Bulan.” He was also the first pure-blooded Filipino artist to have performed in the digital series.
