Hollywood actress Rebel Wilson just released her memoir wherein she declared her beef with British celebrities Sacha Baron Cohen, for allegedly sexually harassing her in a movie set, and Adele, for seemingly hating on her because of their resemblance in looks.

In her tell-all book, “Rebel Rising,” Wilson made shock claims about feeling “sexually harassed” by Baron Cohen, whom she co-starred with in the film “Grimsby.” The actress said there were instances where the actor-comedian made her feel “uncomfortable.”

Wilson said that every time she spoke to Baron Cohen during filming, “he’d mention that he wanted me to go naked in a future scene,” which she responded was “no way essential” to the plot.

FEATURED STORIES

She alleged that Baron Cohen would ask her “to change into smaller clothes” and detailed a scenario where her co-star pulled down his trousers, telling her, “Okay, now I want you to stick your finger up my a**,” for a scene that he said would be in the film.

After the revelation, a representative for Baron Cohen released a statement via PA media: “While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during, and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby.”

Adele vs Fat Amy?

This, the movie star said, appeared to have caused bad blood between her and Adele.

“Some actresses would get offended if I called them plus-size in this book, so I have to be careful with what I say,” she wrote. “This is why, I think, Adele hates me. There was a moment when she was bigger, and some people would confuse us for one another.”

Wilson remarked that Adele’s impulse to “turn away from her” when they bumped into each other gave the impression that the latter “doesn’t like to be near ‘Her Fatness,’” referring to her “Pitch Perfect” character, Fat Amy.

“I am assuming, because to be fair I’ve never asked her,” adding that the Grammy winner, “always quickly turns away from me at the few events where I’ve seen her as if my fatness might rub off on her if I were near her for more than thirty seconds. That she didn’t like being compared to ‘Fat Amy,’”

The “Senior Year” actress and Adele have both openly discussed their weight-loss journey. In 2020, Rebel shared that she lost 77 pounds with Ozempic, a medicine for Type 2 diabetes, while the “Easy on Me” singer revealed she lost about 100 pounds the year before.
