Liza Soberano says hosting Anime Awards 2024 was a ‘huge opportunity’
Liza Soberano was on cloud nine after being tapped as one of the presenters during Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2024 in Tokyo, Japan last Saturday, March 2, saying it was a “huge opportunity” for her.
Soberano looked breathtaking in an orange-sequined halter dress by fashion designer David Koma. With her hair partially wrapped into a chignon and overall fashion polished by silver stiletto heels, she was indeed a gorgeous sight to behold.
The actress presented the award for Best Anime Song during the awards ceremony.
“Congratulations to all of the winners of the @animeawards.official 2024 and thank you so much to @crunchyroll for having me,” she said in the caption of her Instagram post.

In a separate post, Soberano shared a photo of herself with “Parasite” director Bong Joon-ho and glimpses of her favorite behind-the-scenes moments at the event.

Soberano is emerging as a rising Hollywood star after gaining rave reviews for her portrayal of Taffy in the film “Lisa Frankenstein” which also stars Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she said that she would be dividing her time between the US and Asia to fulfill her acting, modeling, and endorsement pursuits.
