Maxine Medina, non-showbiz husband Timmy Llana expecting first child
Maxine Medina and her non-showbiz husband Timmy Llana were overjoyed as they announced they’re expecting their first child, four months after saying “I do.”
The couple confirmed Medina’s pregnancy in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, Feb. 20, where the former beauty queen is excited about being a mother for the first time.
“So, this is how it feels to hold an ultrasound photo of our own little one, yieeee… We’re thrilled to share the most precious news! We’re expecting our first little bundle of joy,” Medina wrote, sharing a photo of herself and Llana holding an ultrasound of their baby.

Medina also admitted that she and her husband were full of “love and excitement” at the onset of parenthood, hinting that she cried when she heard their baby’s “first heartbeat.”

Article continues after this advertisementThe couple’s announcement was met with congratulatory messages in the comments from celebrities such as Medina’s “First Yaya” costars Sanya Lopez, Cassy Legaspi and Kakai Bautista, as well as Ara Mina, fellow beauty queens Winwyn Marquez and Samantha Bernardo, and her brother-in-law Rodjun Cruz.
Medina tied the knot with Llana, who works as a diving instructor, in two ceremonies in October 2023.
The couple first said “I do” at a church wedding in Rizal, then at a beach wedding in Palawan days later.
