Former child star Niño Muhlach sold one of his Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) trophies to Boss Toyo for P500,000 after the latter personally asked if the actor would be willing to sell the trophy to him.
In an episode published on Monday, May 13, Boss Toyo clarified that he sent a message to Muhlach asking if he could pay a visit to his shop in Quezon City to see if they could come up with a deal.
“Para lang sa kaalaman niyo, I tried to contact Sir Niño. Ako ‘yung nagsabi sa kaniya, ‘Sir baka, can I take some of your artifacts, and baka mabili ko ‘yung isa niyang FAMAS, could you bring one?’ Hindi talaga siya pumunta dito para ibenta ito at ako ‘yung nagrequest,” the content creator shared.
“Sabi ko nga kung meron akong gustong makuha na FAMAS child actor award is kay idol Niño. Ang hirap presyuhan ng isang Niño Muhlach, priceless eh,” continued Boss Toyo, who pegged an initial offer of P100,000 for the trophy.
However, one of Muhlach’s sons, who was there with him, insisted that they should up the price to P500,000, an amount that eventually sealed the deal for the parties.

“I decided to give it to him, but big deal, kailangan alagaan niya, i-restore nya, and ilagay niya sa museum nya, dahil hindi ko na naalagaan. ‘Yun ang deal namin,” said Muhlach.
Boss Toyo then assured Muhlach that he would restore the trophy to its former glory. He further said that he intends to display the trophy at a museum he’s putting up that will be launched sometime in October.
Muhlach was dubbed the “Child Wonder of the Philippines” for making films that garnered both critical and commercial success. He holds the title of the highest-paid child actor in the history of Filipino cinema.
Boss Toyo previously gained attention after former child actor Jiro Manio went to his store to sell his Gawad Urian trophy. The content creator revealed in the recent episode that someone has offered to buy Manio’s trophy for P200,000 after he got it for P70,000.
Prior to that, Francis Magalona’s alleged lover went to Boss Toyo’s store to sell some of the rapper’s memorabilia, while revealing to the public that they have a love child.
