Kelvin Miranda, Angel Guardian, Faith Da Silva join cast of ‘Encantadia’ spin-off ‘Sang’gre’

Kelvin Miranda, Angel Guardian and Faith Da Silva will be joining Bianca Umali to portray the four new Sang’gres in the upcoming “Encantadia” spin-off series entitled “Sang’gre.”

Miranda, Guardian and Da Silva’s casting was announced through the GMA TV series’ official Instagram page on Friday, Oct. 27.

Miranda will play the role of Adamus, the keeper of the “brilyante ng tubig.” Adamus is the son of Sang’gre Alena which was portrayed by Karylle in the 2005 original fantaserye and by Gabbi Garcia in the 2016 remake.

Guardian is Deia in the upcoming TV series, the keeper of “brilyante ng hangin.” The elemental superpower was previously held by Sang’gre Amihan, portrayed by Iza Calzado in 2005 and Kylie Padilla in 2016.

Da Silva, meanwhile, will give life to the character of Flamarra, who is the keeper of “brilyante ng apoy.” Flamarra is the daughter of Sang’gre Hara Pirena, the role played by Sunshine Dizon in the original series and by Glaiza de Castro in the reboot.

The actors as well as Umali already met and the four became emotional as they did the Sang’gres’ pose holding the elemental stones. Umali’s “Sang’gre” casting and character Terra, the keeper of “brilyante ng lupa,” was announced earlier.

Further details on the upcoming TV series, which will be helmed by director Mark Reyes, have yet to be revealed as of this writing.
