Kristine Hermosa is filled with gratitude as she celebrates 40th birthday

As she turns 40, Kristine Hermosa showcased her faith and expressed her gratitude to the Lord, and love for the people she has been blessed with.

On her Instagram, the “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” actress recently gave her followers a glimpse of how she celebrated her special day. She uploaded multiple photos with her family, including a snap wherein they were joined by her older sister Kathleen and her husband Miko Santos.

In her post’s caption, the mom of five acknowledged the goodness of the Lord in her life, and declared how living in obedience to Him was “the wisest decision” she had ever made.

“All that I am and all that I have are entirely gifted by my heavenly Father… [emojis] I am certain now that the wisest decision I [have] made in my life was to completely obey Him. [emoji],” shared Hermosa, who specifically thanked God for blessing her with people who have kept her going.

“I thank the Lord for constantly sustaining me by giving me such incredible human beings to be with[;] they [have] kept me fueled every single time.. [emojis],” she said, and added how “emojis can’t express enough” how she feels.

The “All My Life” star continued: “Yes, I’m officially 40! [emoji] (so blessed to have made it [to 40] in this ever changing world [emoji]) Now, I shall take my time, bask on every God[-]given moment and continue to be like Jesus. [emojis]”

Hermosa also took the opportunity to express her love and appreciation for her loved ones, starting with her husband, Oyo Sotto. “Oyo, you are the best husband and friend I could ever ask for [emoji] I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART. [emoji],” she shared, and then addressed her children, family, and friends.

“To my beautiful children, you are incomparable! [emojis] I LOVE ALL OF YOU ENORMOUSLY [and] EQUALLY .. [emoji] To my family and friends, words are not enough.. [emojis] I LOVE YOU ALL..”

She capped off her post by thanking the Lord for the gift of salvation. “I AM AND WILL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL [emoji] Thank you, Father God for saving me and my family [emoji].”

Sotto, who last acted — alongside his father Vic Sotto — in the Kapuso sitcom “Daddy’s Gurl,” posted a short and sweet birthday message for his wife on his Instagram.

“Birthday workout! Happy birthday to the love of my life [emoji] I thank God for your life! We are truly blessed to have you… [emoji] Thank you sa lahat ng ginagawa mo para sa amin (for all that you do for us)[.] I love you so much! [emoji] #40,” he wrote. In the same post, Sotto uploaded a seemingly post-workout snap with his better half.

The couple, who celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary earlier in the year, are parents to five children — Kiel, Ondrea, Kaleb, Vin, and Isaac.
