Dolly de Leon, Billy Crawford, Joaquin Domagoso, Jeric Gonzales among NCCA’s Ani ng Dangal awardees

Dolly de Leon, Billy Crawford, Joaquin Domagoso and Jeric Gonzales were among those who received the National Commission for Culture and the Arts’ (NCCA) Ani ng Dangal awards at a ceremony held in Malacañang Palace on Wednesday, Feb. 22.
The award was given to De Leon for having won the Best Supporting Performer for “Triangle of Sadness” at the Los Angeles Films Critics Association Awards (LAFCA); Domagoso for his Best Actor nod for “That Boy in the Dark” at the Toronto Film and Script Awards; and Gonzales for his Best Actor win for “Broken Blooms” at the Harlem International Film Festival in New York.
Crawford, for his part, received the honor for winning the latest season of “Danse avec les Stars,” the French version of “Dancing with the Stars.”
This year’s Ani ng Dangal ceremony, which was attended by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, honored 33 artists—four awardees from Architecture and Allied Arts, one from Broadcast Arts, 11 from Cinema, four from Dance, 10 from Music and three from Visual Arts.
Crawford attended the event with his wife, Coleen Garcia, who treated fans to moments from the awarding ceremony through her Instagram page.

Domagoso and Gonzales also gave a glimpse of the ceremony as well as their awards through their respective Instagram pages. De Leon, who earlier attended the British Academy Film Awards in London, was not present at the Ani ng Dangal event.
