Hugh Jackman has dished out some details on “Deadpool 3,” revealing that his Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool will “hate each other” in the upcoming movie.

The Hollywood actor made this known when asked to categorize the relationship between the superheroes, during his guesting at The Empire Film Podcast via Deadline last Sunday, Dec. 25.

“How do I categorize it? Ten being really close, zero being the reality, we’re zero, we’re opposites, hate each other,” he said.

Jackman added that from his perspective, Logan (Wolverine) would want to be “a million miles away” from Deadpool and wants to “punch him in the head.”

“Unfortunately, he can’t be a million miles away from him in this movie, so I’m probably going to punch him in the head a lot,” he quipped.

Jackman’s return as Wolverine was revealed during Disney’s fan convention, D23 Expo, earlier this year. Fans last saw Jackman as Wolverine in the 2017 movie “Logan,” in which the character famously died at the end of the film.

Given this, it remains unclear how Wolverine will be making an appearance in “Deadpool 3.” However, Jackman recently stated the character will now be integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and assured fans that the new movie will not mess with the timeline in “Logan.”

“All because of this device they have in the Marvel world of moving around timelines, now we can go back because, you know, it’s science, so I don’t have to screw with the ‘Logan’ timeline, which was important to me. And I think probably to the fans too,” Jackman was quoted as saying.

“Deadpool 3” is directed by “Free Guy” and “The Adam Project” director Shawn Levy. It is written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who also wrote the first two Deadpool films. The movie is set for release in 2024.  /ra
