This is not the first time that Aquino had an opportunity to appear in an international project. He was supposed to star in the hit Korean series “Squid Game” last year, but was not able to film for the role due to COVID-19 travel restrictions at the time.
Despite this, streaming service Netflix still sent him a green tracksuit and “invitation card,” reminiscent of the one featured on “Squid Game.”
Meanwhile, the past months have left Aquino busy with various projects including the ABS-CBN series “How to Move on in 30 Days,” in which he starred with Maris Racal, and the romance film “Expensive Candy” alongside Julia Barretto. /ra
