Red Velvet singer Seulgi to put out solo work next month — report
Seulgi of Red Velvet will come out with her first solo album in October, according to local media reports on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
Label SM Entertainment confirmed the news following the reports.
She will be the third member of the quintet to put one out, after Wendy and Joy. She sang on her own for the original soundtrack on the drama “The Crowned Clown” in 2019.
She debuted as a member of Red Velvet in 2014. In March, the group released the EP “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm,” which sold the second-most copies in the first week of sales for a K-pop girl group at the time. AP/JB
