The Eigenmann family paid tribute to Cherie Gil in an intimate gathering, nearly a month since the veteran actress passed away.

Cherie’s brother Michael de Mesa gave the public a glimpse of the family reunion while expressing love for his sister on his Instagram page yesterday, Sept. 2. Their other brother Mark Gil, whose real name is Ralph Eigenmann, passed away back in 2014.

“I know you were with us — smiling, crying, and laughing at the beautiful memories we shared of you with each other. We miss you so much! But in our grief, we smile knowing that you are hugging Ralph again,” De Mesa said. “We love you, Cherie!”
