Jason Marvin Hernandez confirms split with Moira Dela Torre, confesses being unfaithful

Moira Dela Torre and her husband, singer-songwriter Jason Marvin Hernandez, have gone their separate ways after three years of marriage as Hernandez admitted that he had been unfaithful to Dela Torre.
The former couple confirmed their split in a joint statement on Hernandez’s Facebook and Instagram pages yesterday, May 31.
“It is with a heavy heart that after three years of marriage, we announce that we are parting ways. Our love and respect for each other remains. We request for privacy during this difficult time,” they stated.
Hernandez said the announcement was “probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write” and he is trying to “be better.”
“Three years ago, I married my best friend with the intent of spending the rest of my life with her. Though my love for her has always been genuine, a few months ago, I confessed to Moira that I have been unfaithful to her during our marriage. I believe that she deserved to know the truth rather than continue down a ‘peaceful’ but dishonest path,” he told fans.

Dela Torre, meanwhile, showed Hernandez’s post without adding a personal statement via her Instagram Stories, also yesterday.

Speculations on Dela Torre and Hernandez’s marriage circulated online last April, when some fans noticed that Dela Torre supposedly deleted most of their photos together on Instagram. At the time, the two dismissed breakup speculations.
Dela Torre and Hernandez tied the knot in a Tagaytay garden wedding back in 2019, a year after Hernandez made a surprise proposal during Dela Torre’s “Tagpuan” music video shooting. /ra
