Cherry Pie Picache and her son Nio Tria have taken further steps to be protected from the novel coronavirus by getting their COVID-19 booster shots.

Picache expressed her gratitude to the volunteer workers in Quezon City where they got vaccinated, via her Instagram page today, Feb. 21. The actress also showed photos of Tria and herself getting vaccinated while urging the public to also get their booster shots.

“Booster [check]. Kayo? Sana tapos na rin sa pagbabakuna and booster!!!” she said, adding the hashtags “Vaccines Saves Lives” and “Vaccine Advocate.”

Picache had her bout with COVID-19 in March last year, which she described as a “tough, painful and scariest battle.” The actress also shared that her three-week ordeal with the virus changed the way she sees things.

Meanwhile, the actress and her boyfriend, fellow actor Edu Manzano, recently expressed their willingness to have a baby “if given the chance.” JB
