Do you believe in giving second chances? Yes or No? Explain your choice.

Yasser Marta: Do I believe in second chances? Of course, I do. I am not a perfect person and so, we should be forgiving also of people who have done wrong to us. So, it is a yes for me. I do believe in second chances.

Kate Valdez: Sure, I do believe in second chances. However, it really depends on the situation if the other person deserves a second chance. Or if matters have been ironed out. It will also depend on the boundaries I have set for myself, what the other person may have done wrong that I will not tolerate. It really depends on the person and the situation. But if I have been hurt badly emotionally and the relationship has become toxic already, what for is a second chance?

Name the negative factors, situations, circumstances, or kinds of people, or whatever else you have in mind, that could make you break up with your partner and which would greatly influence you to NOT consider a second chance, you would tell that person with finality: “Kiss that idea good-bye!”

Yasser Marta: Looking back to past relationships, I would have to say it would be when third parties are involved. That factor would be the most difficult to encounter in a relationship, especially when too many others become involved as well already. First, you start wondering and ask yourself what could be “wrong with me?” Then, you turn to your family to ask them what they think could be wrong. If you start blaming yourself, if the kinks are left unresolved, this could eventually lead to mental problems. That’s why I feel it’s best, to be honest, and just cut clean rather than have too many other people involved in the relationship. Because if it’s just a matter of the other person’s personality or nature, qualities or characteristics, I can maybe more readily accept her as she is if it’s really love we are talking about. However, for me, cheating is one factor that will be totally and absolutely unacceptable. Besides, for me, if you love someone, it’s important that that is the only one you should love. After all, you can only love one person. It’s not possible that you can even say you love another, too. So, if there’s cheating at all involved, that’s it! That’s the end of the story for me.

Kate Valdez: For me, when it comes to relationships, whether they be romantic, friendships, or family, respect for me should always be present. That is my top requirement in any relationship. If there is no respect… okay, goodbye. Without respect, all other aspects of the relationship cannot be sustained. For me, I cannot consider you a good person if you do not have respect for me. It’s bye! You can go! Out of my life!

What is your favorite love song? Why?

Yasser Marta: Well, I am an old soul, so most of the songs I listen to are from the 1980s, 1990s. And my favorite band is The Police and my favorite song is theirs, “Every Breath You Take.” Other than the fact that Sting is really my idol, ever since I was a young child and I would be riding in our family car with my Dad… his favorite playlist is The Police. Well, he’s now abroad and when I miss my Dad I play that song. Its lines go this way: “Every breath you take, I will be watching you…” so it translates to me personally as though my Dad is telling me that whatever I do, he will always be my side.

Kate Valdez: To be honest, I am not into love songs. I prefer bitter, emotional songs. I am very much into the bands like Chase Atlantic and Stand Atlantic, which are very in now. But when it comes to oldies, I really, really like “If You’re Not The One” by Daniel Bedingfield.
