WATCH: Heart Evangelista surprises Chiz Escudero with luxury watch as anniversary gift

Heart Evangelista went on a shopping spree for her upcoming birthday and one of the things she bought is a luxury Rolex watch, her anniversary gift to husband Chiz Escudero.
Evangelista gave fans a glimpse of a day in her life through her Instagram page yesterday, Feb. 7. The actress-fashionista showed herself getting ready to head out and do a “little shopping.” After roaming around shops of several luxury brands, Evangelista can be seen taking home a few items with her.
Evangelista later surprised her husband with her anniversary gift which Escudero appeared to like. Escudero showed his appreciation by kissing his wife.
“Balancing act — ‘pag gumastos ka for yourself, need mo din gift asawa mo para di ka pagalitan!” she said.
(Balancing act — if you spend money for yourself, you also need to get your husband a gift so you won’t be scolded.)

It can be recalled that Evangelista has been getting “sermon” from her husband in connection with her shopping habits. Escudero recently crashed her outfit-of-the-day (OOTD) video after he noticed that she had more bags on her shelf. He then reminded Evangelista of their agreement on buying bags, which only allows her to buy one if she sells an old one.
Meanwhile, Evangelista recently hinted about her retirement in doing soap operas, noting how she feels like it’s time for her to “graduate.” JB
