“But we are still masked and we’re all taking the necessary precautions (new cases reported today are still 5,177),” Aquino also shared.

She then thanked Leviste for visiting her at her home in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, where they shared a meal with Peña and Bimby.

“[Thank] you for the visit & the food vice gov @markleviste, although [I] believe you should get your vaccine soonest because you’re not just protecting yourself, you must get your vaccine for the safety of your constituents, friends, family, and loved ones. Agree?” Aquino said.

Leviste then heeded Aquino’s advice, saying in the comments section: “Agree, Madame. Thanks!”

In March last year, Aquino turned down the romantic proposal of Leviste, who commented in one of her Instagram posts, “I choose you.”

Aquino, who replied “No offense, but no thank you,” explained that “it’s not healthy to entertain someone when you know in your heart that feelings for another haven’t been totally extinguished.”

However, netizens began speculating that the two were indeed dating in late February, after Aquino and Leviste were allegedly spotted eating out.

Aquino was quick to shut down the rumors by posting on her Instagram on March 1 that she is “single, not dating, peaceful, trying to get healthier.”  /ra
