Darren Espanto exposed to COVID-19 patient, concert postponed
Darren Espanto’s upcoming digital concert has been postponed as the singer was recently exposed to a COVID-19 patient.
“‘DARREN: HOME RUN’ has been MOVED to JUNE 19, 2021 and JUNE 20, 2021 due to my recent exposure to someone who tested positive for COVID-19,” Espanto announced on Instagram yesterday, May 14.
The said concert was originally set to be held on the night of May 30, with a rerun the next morning.

The “The Voice Kids” finalist noted that all tickets that have been previously purchased are still valid on the new dates.
Article continues after this advertisementThe digital concert will start at 8 p.m. on June 19 and its rerun will be shown at 10 a.m. the next day. It will be aired on KTX.ph, iWanTFC and TFC IPTV.
Article continues after this advertisementVIP ticket buyers will, meanwhile, be given the opportunity to join Espanto in a Zoom party, according to the new concert poster that came with the announcement.
Mr. Pure Energy and fellow singer Gary Valenciano, meanwhile, lauded Espanto for the decision to move the concert as a precaution against COVID-19.
“Better safe than sorry Darren’s I think that was wise that you did that!!!” Valenciano said in the comments section.
