Bianca Lapus hospitalized due to COVID-19, pneumonia

Bianca Lapus has been hospitalized after contracting the novel coronavirus and pneumonia, she disclosed to fans earlier today, March 18.

Lapus, who is currently confined at The Medical City in Pasig, admitted that battling COVID-19 is a difficult and painful ordeal, as seen on her Instagram.

“[Please] continue to pray for my battle with COVID-19 and my Pneumonia on both lungs. Sobrang hirap, Ang sakit… dami tests, gamot… nakaka praning (It is very hard, it hurts… there are many tests, medicines, it is driving me crazy),” the actress stressed.

Lapus’ post came with a photo of herself wearing a face mask while lying in bed at the hospital. She also shared several quotes and prayers for her quick recovery.

“I’m still not stable especially emotionally… But I am fighting,” Lapus stressed. “MY FAITH IS BIGGER THAN MY FEARS… EVEN BIGGER THAN THIS VIRUS!”

“WE HAVE AN AMAZING GOD FULL OF MIRACLES! HE WILL HEAL ME AND RESTORE MY BODY!” she added.

The Department of Health recorded 4,387 additional coronavirus infections yesterday, March 17, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country to 635,698. There are currently 61,733 active cases as of this writing.

Daily coronavirus cases in the country may further increase to 10,000 to 11,000 by the end of March, warned OCTA Research, which monitors the trends of COVID-19 in the Philippines.  /ra
