WATCH: Mon Confiado hunts down Maja Salvador in Mikhael Red’s ‘Arisaka’ trailer
The teaser trailer for filmmaker Mikhail Red’s upcoming film “Arisaka,” which stars Mon Confiado and Maja Salvador, has finally been released.
Salvador, who plays a policewoman, tries to flee and survive on her own as she gets tracked down by what appears to be a group of fellow police officers, as seen in the trailer posted by production company TEN17P on YouTube on Dec. 4.
With the film being set on the path of the tragic Bataan Death March of 1942, “Arisaka” is aptly titled after the bolt-action rifles that Japanese soldiers used during World War II.
“A policewoman must retrace the trail of the Bataan Death March in order to escape her captors,” the synopsis read. “‘Arisaka’ is a film about survival, transformation, and ultimately, revenge.”
